I recently took over the billing duties at my company which I have worked at for 30 years. I received a phone call from Entrust &;;;;; the "REP" told me that we had to re-up our contract ASAP because our contract was running out with them and that if we didn't they could raise our electric price per Kwh as high as the chose and we could be penalized an extra fee. I called the company that owned the lines & meters. They told me that ENTRUST was completely full of it & that this was an illegal pressure tactic. They have since lost our business and we are signed up with another reputable company.

What the heck is a base charge , never before paid that!!!!!

After 2 months of my already set up explained to me agreement, and 2 months charging me that amount that i understood after a larger increase in charges, they pop up with an almost $5.00 BASE CHARGE!!!, on the 3rd month of contract agreement .What the heck is that and what for????? Just another added amount to throw you off without an explanation, Jeez, come on. We pay enough as it is.

This company is Trouble.. We signed the contract for my business. First month got a whole different bill than the sample bill copy I had. I discussed that with the company and they said sorry for giving you the wrong bill. This is where I made a mistake that even knowing this bill is not matching the sample bill, I stayed with the company as the difference was very minimum. Now after 9 months, my bill has doubled. The same amount of KW used and the price is much higher. There is something called Ancillary charges that show up on my bill with different price every month. and the explanation is that is a charge that is forwarded to them and they forward it to me. Also TDU charges have double which I have already called Center Point about and they are checking that as I officially filled the complained so should know soon about why the TDU charges have double since than. This company is sucking our blood and no way to fight it as a contract is signed and I am stucked with it. Lesson learned to never buy from a rep. my bill is doubled and I pray everyday that they will get what they are screwing people out of.

Do not sign up with Entrust

I owned a small Restaurant . one of their sales person came and promised to give a retail rate. my monthly bill range from $800 to $1300. last it went up to almost $ 1600. and guess what is the bill this month, it's $ 5365. oh my god! i tried to call the person who signed me up . no one answed phone. they charged me 25 cents for each KWH . I am reporting them to the better business bureau. and I am hiring a attorney.

This exact same thing happened to me in the cypress, tx area. I am trying to figure out how to get out of the contract.

Same thing happened to where I work, I submitted an email to the customer protection division of Texas and Texas state auditors office and they are going to review the case, if you all can submitted to so we can be more against this trashy company. Here is the website Www.puc.texas.gov

July 2019 Not getting bills on time and then you get a call saying they are turning service off. They tell you to go to a gas station to pay your bill. Don’t offer online payments. Terrible customer service! So rude and disrespectful

They finally quit calling after I posted this on your sight

I have told them not to call me any more so for 3 weeks now they call every day---- getting ready to hand recordings over to my attorney and buy a whistle to blow in their ear. Second you can hardly understand the guy and when you say don't call again he says it takes seventy-two hours. Well it has been three weeks. Isn't there something that can be done other than hiring an attorney? Even if I wanted to change electric companies I wouldn't go with someone who had to call and bother me every day. Companies like this shouldn't exist. Plus when they call it takes them a few minutes to even say hi and ask for me :(

I had calls from other telemarketers trying to sell me health insurance. They would cal! Every thirty minutes from six different numbers so I called the Federal Trade Commission and no more calls

Don't Fall for the LIES!!

Don't fall for their lies! They send reps door to door so their lies aren't recorded.

A rep named Raee come to my door promising lower rates and that they would actually pay for the cancellation fee from my current provider. They call some person from your phone to enroll and put it on speaker to coach you through the questions. If you hesitate they hang the call up and tell you not to hesitate that they are giving you the answers by nodding their head yes or no. After confirming multiple times that they would pay for the cancellation fee from my current provider and lower my current rate I went through the call.

Well now I get my cancellation bill and sent it to Raee and nothing.. I called her and she told me to call customer service. After over an hour being on the phone with customer service I was told that they don't cover other provider cancellation fees and that they are sorry for the misunderstanding.. It wasn't a misunderstanding it was straight up lies!

Not only that my bill was higher than before! They refused to pay Reliants cancellation fee as their employee promised and then told me if I cancelled with them it would be a $300 cancellation fee! Because when they review my calls that I was coached in I apparently agreed to paying all cancellation fees!

I recommend Reliant! They are waiving the current cancellation fee and giving me a lower rate also crediting my account to pay for Entrusts cancellation fee.

Worst service ever

Do not do business with this company, the sales staff will paint a beautiful picture about how great service will be with entrust, but in truth it is a nightmare. Charges are through the roof and if you dare to cancel you will be charged a extra 300.00 for being unhappy... And if you call, forget about any mercy because the company doesn't care. Customer service will drain your last drop of blood and smile as they do it. If Entrust is so great why do they charge so much for leaving??? I have never felt so ripped off by any other company and I will never do business with another door to door sales person with empty promises...

I am going through the EXACT same thing! They came to my door, told me they could lower my bill, but they never mentioned the INSANE extra charges.

My bill normally ranged between $70 and $100, now the average bill I have is $220, highest was $256, and my usage has not changed!

I live in a small house and travel a lot, there is no way my bill should ever be this high. I am sad that a company like this exists and that I fell for their scam.

Door to door salesman

I was lied by the door to door salesman and was told that Reliant was not going to charge me a cancellation fee. That entrust was going to take over my account and start billing me.

That was a big lie. Also that they did have any fee to be charge to my Entrust account only wattage used by me at 8 cent per. I made a compliant and still have not resolve since August 26, The salesman give me his cell phone number ,and has not returned any of my calls. I also call customer service and was told that someone would be calling me back asap and not a call since beginning of September 2017.

I got a call today about me not paying my bill that was due Sept 26, 2017 and told them that my account was under investigation and to review the accounts before calling people. I would not suggest for anyone to buy from a salesman but to call Entrust due to calls are recorded. When I compliant I told ,them that I made the salesman to write on my receipt that no cancellation fees were to be charge to me and he did.

Customer service told me that how do they know he wrote because anybody would have written it. In another words they did not believe me.

What is going on?

Just got an email from Entrust Energy. It was a reminder that our credit card on file is expiring next month and that we need to update.

Only problem??? We have NO account with these clowns. And, never have. Somehow they managed to know at least the last four digits of our card, as it was used in the email.

This is scary stuff. We have our electricity through another provider, same thing with gas. Those bills are auto-drafted from our checking accounts.

So...burning question is: How did they get us on their list, including info on a credit card. Again, scary stuff.

After paying my bill on time every month on the 1st they wouldn't return my deposit. They,said I had disconnection notices.

I was never late and never had to pay a late charge! They said it's how the billing cycle fell this is after several attempts to readjust. They had no problem taking my deposit and stood firm with their decision.

If anyone wants a reference I can provide. Check else where as they will not work with you and will send notices after you have paid.
